Efren Covarrubias

Edinburg - Efren Covarrubias 53, passed away on Friday, February 13,2026 at his residence in Edinburg with family by his side. Mr. Covarrubias was born on June 18,1972 to Francisco and Senorina Covarrubias in Tula Tamaulipas, Mexico. He was a loving husband and father to his family. He is survived by his wife Ignacia Covarrubias, sons Efren Jr., Emanuel and Jesse Covarrubias, daughters Lizbeth, Rosalinda and Janet Covarrubias, Brothers Agapito, Antonio and Moises Covarrubias, sisters Olivia, Hilaria and Adela Covarrubias. Viewing will be held on Monday, February 16,2026 from 4pm to 9pm at Amador Funeral Home 213 W. Santa Rosa Ave in Edcouch. The family will have a rosary at 6pm that same evening. A chapel service will be held on Tuesday, February 17,2026 at 10am at Amador Funeral Home in Edcouch. Burial will follow at Val Verde Cemetery in Donna. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dimas L. Amador-Funeral Director at Amador Funeral Home in Edcouch.
